UV-bikini

What it Is:
Erik Nollen, from Tio Coolhunt ‘08: On the picture you see a woman in bikini. This is a special bikini with an UV-meter in it. Staying too long in direct sunlight is dangerous because it causes painful burns and might result in skin cancer.
Why it's cool:
In some parts of the world people want to have a white skin and in other parts they to be tanned. But tanning is quite dangerous and this bikini warns you when you are getting too much dangerous sun (UV) rays on your body. So you might say that it tells you when your quest for beauty is turning ugly. And that while you’re wearing such a cute bikini!

But, if you don’t wanna go to the beach dressed like a Bond girl, soon you’ll can use the bracelet developed by the Strathclyde University.
