Professional Futurist, Master of Sciences graduated at the University of Houston, Clear Lake, co-chair of the Brazilian Node of the Millennium Project, Vice-President and founder of the Futures Research Group at the Sao Paulo Catholic University, specialist in Global Management at Morehouse College (Atlanta, USA), Deep Ecology at Schumacher College (UK) and Creativity (Center for Creative Leadership (San Diego, USA).
Introduced in Brazil the Brazilian Version of Ethical Markets, a multimedia platform on sustainability and corporate social responsibility, created by Hazel Henderson and licensed by the leading communicator Christina C. Pinto.
Consultant and facilitator of innovation and change process, responsible for the initiative and for the white paper called “Women Foresight Study” under the responsibility of the Millennium Project that is now an on-going research called Millennia 2015..
Represents Latin America in the IFG International Foresight Group created by the group Z_Punkt, based in Germany and also is Latin American research associate of Kairos Institute based in Sweden. Member of the international editorial board of Shaping Tomorrow, a foresight platform developed in England. Professional member of APF (Association of Professional Futurists), WFS (World Future Society), WFSF (World Futures Studies Federation).
In 2003, coordinated the first world conference on quality of life indicators ICONS 2003 – International Conference on Indicators of Quality of Life and Sustainability, held in Curitiba, Brasil. Also coordinated in 2004 the Millennium Project Planning Committee in Sao Paulo, followed by the International Conference Tech Futures.
Used to be a high-management executive in the communications area of several companies, the last one, the Brazilian subsidiary of Avon Products awarded many times as a leading Corporate Communication Professional.
Presently, working as a foresight consultant for several business, governments and NGOs. Developed trends researchs such as Consumer 2010s and Collaborative Advantage for a leading retail consultancy company called Gouvea de Souza.
Lecturer in Brazil and in the world, media activist, co-founder of the Movement Media for Peace and member of IVOHOPE – Images and Voices of Hope. Editor of the first Latin American trends newsletter called Radar 21 that is coming back soon.
