Dr. Carl C.Rohde (50) lectures at the University of Utrecht, Department of Mass Communication and General Social Sciences. Next to that he leads Science of the Time, a virtual network of trend- and market researchers world wide.
Rohde conducts research on the movements in the social-cultural climate of this world. What ‘moves’ consumer groups? What are their ‘soft spots’ ? What are their desires and worries? And how can the outcomes of research be connected in strategically relevant ways to marketing, marketing communication and product development? Now and in the near future.
At the university Rohde conducts academic research. At Science of the Time these academic research projects are translated to their both practical and strategic meaning for business and government.
