Jord van den Hooff

Jord van den Hooff is a Dutchman who studies his Bachelors Mandarin at Sichuan University and directs small entrepreneurial start-ups in Chengdu.

Before he discovered China, he had just finished his pre-university degree in Holland. Right after, he left to work for a Dutch electronics trading company in Shenzhen. That trip introduced him to the Chinese visions of life and business. Ever since he has been learning and practicing entrepreneurial activities.

Jord has been involved with various start-ups and has been learning from both university and the street so to speak.  Chengdu gives him the unique opportunity to study and interact with the ʻraw Chinaʼ while experiencing the worldʼs fasted economic growth front row.

He enjoys gathering knowledge about the latest (clean) tech, start ups, China and ICT. He is always looking for new opportunities.
