Jord van den Hooff
Jord van den Hooff is a Dutchman who studies his Bachelors Mandarin at Sichuan University and directs small entrepreneurial start-ups in Chengdu.
Before he discovered China, he had just finished his pre-university degree in Holland. Right after, he left to work for a Dutch electronics trading company in Shenzhen. That trip introduced him to the Chinese visions of life and business. Ever since he has been learning tremendously from his experiences in the field.
Jord founded various small start-ups and has been working with many different people and parties. Chengdu gives him the unique opportunity to study and interact with the ʻraw Chinaʼ while experiencing the worldʼs fasted economic growth front row.
He reads about the latest technology and world developments daily and enjoys gathering new insights. Occasionally he misses Europe for its class, women, food & coffee.
